This piece was originally done to celebrate my home state of Ohio with the Buckeye tree leaf and buckeye butterfly. Ohio has an abundance of beautiful colored leaves in autumn and I remember collecting them for biology class in school. One of my all time favorite projects! Maybe that's what started my habit of collecting art supplies?
This is an intermediate level project done on 7"x14" Crescent Smoke Grey suede mat board using Prismacolor Premier colored pencils.
