When thinking about the holidays I came across these lovely unusual wood ornaments. Colored pencils work up fast on small pieces of wood and the holiday reds and greens seem to pop with the black scroll accents. Of course these traditional patterns can be adapted to any wood piece you may have in your stash. Both patterns are included in this tutorial.
