I titled this painting Carolina Cardinal because they appear in the dogwood tree outside my Carolina studio window and watching them nest catches my attention quite often. This is actually a female Northern Cardinal hard at work.
This is a beginner/intermediate project created on 8"x10" white Multimedia ArtBoard or watercolor paper using Derwent watercolor pencils.
