These little bandits are a favorite teaching project of mine as it involves working on black with several different types of textures to execute. Just to be clear, racoons are not exactly my favorite animals having had a few run ins with these mischievous characters but they are fun to paint.
This is a beginner/intermediate level project created on 9"x12" black Multimedia ArtBoard or other black surface using Derwent Watercolor Pencils.
