It's fun to paint this bright colored bird with its feathers all fluffed up keeping warm. Ice covered branches can be a common sight in a South Carolina winter. The ice is not difficult to do just keep the bright highlights consistent with the light source.
This is a beginner level project created on 6"x8" black Multimedia ArtBoard or another black surface using Derwent Watercolor Pencils.
