The colors of fall are always attractive. The leaf in this bright colored project is cut out and attached to the painting to give the feeling of falling from the tree. Watercolor pencils are translucent so if you transfer the cut out leaf on the back side the graphite will not be a show through problem when painting. I like to use small sharp scissors to cut the edges of the leaf.
This is a beginner/intermediate project created with 8"x10" white and 7"x8" black Multimedia ArtBoard using Derwent Watercolor Pencils.
The tutorial includes product use information, instructions, line patterns, colored worksheet and photo.
